With summer on the way, it’s no secret that getting a spray tan can transform your mood and outlook.  People report feeling all types of emotions after having one: Thinner, healthier, happier, smarter…(for getting one).

Here are our top tips for Spray Tans.

Plan ahead: Which day do you want to be at your best? Book your spray tan 1-2 days before this day if it’s for a specific event.

Exfoliate: Make sure that you also give your skin a gentle exfoliation before coming for your spray tan. If gives you the best chance to looking brown all over with no blotches.

Don’t be shy: Spray tanners have seen it all – the less you wear the better the results. If you feel more comfortable in the paper G-string then of course go ahead. But if it’s out of shyness, don’t mind us.

Wait: the exact number of hours they advise you to before washing. Keep your water temperature at cool to warm and don’t scrub your skin. Instead, gently wash your body (without a loofah) and when drying, pat your skin rather than rub it.

Moisturise: You can’t stop the natural cycle of the skin renewing skin cells, but you can keep it well-moisturised, which keeps the skin hydrated.
